Carpool Chats with Deana Brown: Matchmaker

Being a CDFA®, it is my responsibility to meet and vet family law attorneys. Sometimes when women come to me for divorce financial planning, they do not have an attorney. I am a matchmaker. I match clients with attorneys that I feel would be a good fit for her and her divorce situation. Some traits that I look at are: personality communication organized collaborator I also try to matchmake clients with mediators. I prefer to give a list of three attorneys/mediators for the client to interview and chose the one that they feel the most comfortable.
